XD card is extreme digital card used as the flash storage device in digital cameras to store pictures. All pictures captured by a digital camera can be stored in an XD card and then can be transferred to any other device with the help of this card. xD card comes in the storage capacity up to 2GB. Steps to recover pictures from an xD card:

Step 1: Download and Install the Picture Recovery Software. Connect the xD card and Select "Recover Photos", option in order to retireve pictures from the xD card as shown in Figure 1

Step 2: You will get two options on the next display screen. You can either click on "Recover Deleted Photos" to recover only deleted photos or click on "Recover Lost Photos" to retrieve deleted as well as lost images from an xD card as shown in Figure 2

Step 3: As soon as you click on any photo recovery option, a new window appears on your computer screen displaying each and every storage device connected to it. Select the xD card from which you have lost images by clicking on it and then click on the "Next" button as shown in Figure 3

Step 4: Once you are done with the drive selection, a new window appears which will ask you to select the file type that you want to retrieve. You can always skip this step if you don't want to select any specific file type. But if you are selecting any specific file type then click on the "Next" button as shown in Figure 4

Step 5: Lastly, a window will appear where you can see the recovered file in a systematic file previewing format as shown in Figure 5. Right click on any file and preview it.
